This 63-unit affordable housing building is five-stories tall with walk out basement and framed out of conventional wood framed construction. The floor framing consists of wood open web joists supported by wood stud bearing walls. Due to the poor soil conditions, the building is supported by a deep pile foundation, with a structural slab on grade spanning between grade beams and pile caps.
